Adam and I started dating in 2012, got married in 2017, and have since welcomed two feral daughters into our lives! Adam grew up raising dairy cattle, while I was raised on a beef farm. In 2017, we bought our first farm and stayed true to my beef roots. Over time, we ventured into sheep farming, which came with a steep learning curve, but now we successfully run both beef and sheep on our farm.
Adam owns and operates a custom hay business and a Lime Truck, while we raise beef and lamb and sell it directly to consumers in wholes and halves. Agriculture is our shared passion, and in 2022, we took a new step by purchasing the local feed store, Feed N Trade. Our daughters have also joined in, tending to their chicken and duck flock and selling fresh eggs at the store.
I became interested in beef tallow and started by buying a couple of jars—then realized, why buy it when we have cattle? I made my first batch, shared it with our household and close friends, and the rest is history!
